BORN A KING
A coming-of-age film and epic historical drama based on an extraordinary true story. In 1919 Prince Faisal, aged 13, is dispatched from the deserts of Arabia to London on a high stakes diplomatic mission on behalf of his warrior father. There he negotiates with some of the giant figures of the age, including Winston Churchill and Lord Curzon, whilst forming a touching friendship with Princess Mary, who helps him navigate the corridors of power. The film broke box office records across the Gulf and Middle East, opening at Number 1 and receiving rave reviews. It is the recipient of the Best Film award at the Inward Eye Film Festival for independent cinema. The cast includes Ed Skrein, Hermione Corfield, Kenneth Cranham, James Fleet, Samuel Adewunmi and Abdullah Ali.
The screenplay was written by Henry Fitzherbert.
